Future Analytics Consulting broadens offering with integration of tourism and recreation specialist, Rethink Tourism
Future Analytics Consulting Ltd. (FAC), a chartered town planning, economics and data analytics consultancy based in Dublin, has broadened its services offering by integrating the business activities of Rethink Tourism, a specialist strategic tourism and recreation planning consultancy.
Rethink Tourism’s founder, Mr. James Chilton, will join FAC as part of the senior team, where he’ll share his extensive experience in delivering high quality projects on behalf of government agencies, local authorities, community development organisations and businesses in the tourism and leisure sector.
Commenting on the announcement, FAC Managing Director Dr. William Hynes said;
“Our success to date is attributed to the diverse and complementary skillset of our 26 strong team who work across town planning, economics and data analytics. In addition to our strong domestic portfolio, we’re delighted to have secured some 14 European Commission funded projects over the last seven years. The tourism and leisure market, which in 2017 was valued at €8.7 billion in Ireland and €6.5 billion overseas, is an important service area for FAC. The addition of James and Rethink Tourism will enable us to formally pursue diverse project opportunities across Ireland and internationally. We are really excited for 2018 and beyond.”
James Chilton commented:
“The drive and ambition I had when I first established Rethink Tourism 9 years ago has continued to grow in the intervening years, and the opportunity to draw on the extensive experience and supports available within FAC will ensure we can continue to pursue national and international opportunities. I am also very much looking forward to contributing to the wider project portfolio within FAC.”
Formed in 2010, FAC enables businesses and government to make smarter decisions by connecting research, economics and city planning together with reporting and technological platforms which help its clients to explore and organise data.
