FAC Prepares Celbridge Local Area Plan
Celbridge is a designated Moderate Growth Town (within the Metropolitan Area) in the Regional Planning Guidelines for the Greater Dublin Area 2010-2022 (RPG). As such, its challenge is to deliver 4,224 dwelling units before 2023, while incorporating and balancing other important conservation, heritage, amenity, transportation/movement and social infrastructure objectives.
The plan not only forms part of a hierarchy of spatial land use plans, but must also be capable of being implemented, and for this reason the LAP process must incorporate environmental considerations and views of stakeholders, development and existing residents, all within a tight project timescale.
FAC’s collaborative work process is designed to produce an efficient operation and also a viable and sustainable plan that supports the daily needs of existing and new communities. Our goal for the LAP is to ensure that change can be a positive process for Celbridge which adds to its assets.
Our experienced planning team will be responsible for project management and communication, planning policy, economics, demographic analysis and GIS.
