The Swords Partnership are owners of a strategic landbank known as Lissenhall Great located approximately 1.5km to the northeast of Swords town centre.
FAC was commissioned to prepare a submission in respect of the Fingal County Development Plan 2017-2023, Stage 2: Draft Plan. The submission detailed the importance of the lands for expansion of this designated metropolitan town and provided a rationale as to why an alternative zoning classification is fundamental to unlocking the development potential.
In preparing this submission, FAC liaised with Fingal County Council planning officers to discuss the feasibility of an alternative zoning classification for the lands and illustrate the Swords Partnership’s vision for the lands.
Comprehensive justification for the adoption of a more flexible zoning classification highlighted the necessity for change to unlock the development potential of the Lissenhall Great lands, thereby providing an opportunity to deliver an integrated scheme at this strategic location.
