FAC at XIT Escape Game
FAC left the the office behind last Friday afternoon to test their analytical skills in a different environment, at the XIT live escape game in Dublin.
As the event was kept under wraps until the day before, nobody knew exactly what to expect…
On arrival at the venue, the staff split into four teams.
Each room had a different theme – a missing persons case, a haunted park, a jailbreak and the curse of an Egyptian mummy.
Teams are locked into a room and given one hour to figure out the steps to solve a mystery to find their way out.
This involved cracking codes, and engaging lateral thinking to solve a series of clues.
All four teams did really well, with everyone escaping from their rooms with time to spare, and had a lot of fun in the process.
The prize for winning was the overwhelming admiration of one’s colleagues, as Team B (Chris, Enda, Lucas, James and Martina) found out when they emerged as the winners with an astounding 26 minutes to spare ; )
Rumours that the CIA has been in touch to look for advice from these guys cannot be confirmed or denied at this time.
After all that hard work, everyone retired to the Odeon bar for the evening to rest their weary brains and engage their appetites at a delicious summer barbecue.
