Future Analytics Consulting Secures a Grant of Permission from Louth County Council for a 130-Unit Residential Scheme

Future Analytics Consulting (FAC) has secured a grant of permission from Louth County Council for the development of a scheme comprised of houses, apartments, a creche and a community facility.


FAC acted as the planning consultant working on behalf of EMAOIFROB Ltd. to secure consent on the site which is located in the centre of Dundalk Town. Dundalk itself has experienced continued population growth and the pressure of the housing crisis has been increasingly felt locally. This decision is certain to be welcomed. Importantly, the project will see the redevelopment of an important site that has remained underutilised and derelict for several years.


The proposal is for a predominately residential scheme comprised of 98 houses and 37 apartments. In addition, a crèche and community facilities are to be provided to cater for the needs of future residents and to ensure integration with the existing community. The design – by van Dijk Architects – was inspired by the design, character and features of historic parts of Dundalk. Large areas of open space have also been included to preserve the environment, provide play areas, protect an impressive Cedar of Lebanon tree and link with the adjacent Ice House Hill Park.
