Categories: Research

The first of a series of testing exercises for the tools developed by the RESILENS project took place on the 29th of September, 2016 in Dublin.

Future Analytics Consulting was responsible for the coordination of the workshop which was attended by key stakeholders from Irish critical infrastructures sectors including Irish Water, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the Electricity Supply Board and Gas Networks Ireland.

The workshop participants provided valuable information on the current resilience state of practice as well as indicating what the potential impact RESILENS-developed tools could have on their organisations.

The tools were commended by the group as potential methods to facilitate for internal reflection to support the resilience strategies of the critical infrastructure organisations.

RESILENS is a three-year project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, which aims to develop tools to help to reduce the impact of emergency incidents on critical infrastructure.
