FAC’s William Hynes raised €600 for St Francis Special School, through his participation in last Saturday’s Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle.

The school which is based in Beaufort, Co. Kerry is for pupils aged between 4 and 18 years with moderate to profound learning disabilities.

William joined 11,000 cyclists on the 180km cycle which starts and finishes in Killarney.

The route winds through some of Ireland’s most dramatic and beautiful coastline as well as picturesque villages and raised more than €1.85 million for charity in 2015.

Photos of the day featured in yesterday’s Irish Times article.
